March 2013--Tiffany Arbuckle Lee, better known as the artist Plumb, does not promote “pie-in-the-sky Christianity” and her sixth studio album “Need You Now” is another bold, honest and refreshing work. The music features the 37-year-old’s powerful, distinctive voice with an edgy pop and rock sound. The lyrics are full of crying out to God in desperation and hope. The song, “I Want You Here,” is dedicated to mothers who have lost a child. At one point in the song, Plumb draws you dramatically in singing “God help me, God help me, God help me, breathe.” The title cut “Need You Now,” based on her high school anxiety struggles, is a repeated plea for God’s intervention and has garnered top-10 status on Christian charts.
